David Marangio writes to inform us that the Bay Ridge Food Coop will be holding their next meeting, Tuesday, August 5th at the Brooklyn Public Library – Ridge Boulevard and 73rd street @ 6:30pm.
Plans for the first Bay Ridge Food Coop, which we originally reported on back in June, caused something of a fracas among local coop foodies who were less than impressed with founder-hopeful, Murray Gross’ vision.

Those who participated in June’s exploratory meeting split with Gross on a number of issues, mainly in structure and time line – the details of which attendees felt were, at best, lacking.

It remains to be seen if this meeting of the Bay Ridge Food Coop includes Mr. Gross – or some splinter faction.
