We learn via an email from a passerby of notorious Ginzoloon hot spot, Blue Zoo, that, as of 8:30am this morning, a blood soaked sidewalk and t-shirt is all the evidence that remains of an early morning robbery/assault which took place outside the bar.

According to our reader:

“People need to be aware that there is a serious haz mat issue on the corner of 84th street and 3rd avenue in front of Blue Zoo. I just walked through a pool of blood, and so did a bunch of other people. This wasn’t just a little blood, it was a lot… way too much to leave for some porter to come and hose down into the street. It obviously requires professional remediation.”

The reader goes on to tell us that after initially calling 311, only to no avail, they called 911 for a non-emergency, who confirmed to our tipster that someone was, in fact, beaten and robbed outside the club in the early morning hours, and that arrests were made.

Anyone with any further information on the beat-down/robbery, or status of the blood situation – we’d love to hear about it.
